If you are young at heart, fairly healthy and has got a good sense for adventure, then backpacking might be the most exciting thing you've done in a while! Think of walking down a cobbled street, in Montmartre, the city of Paris lying stretched out in front of you -Ready for you to discover!  Little bakeries, book shops, boutiques are lining the streets as you walk closer and closer in the direction of the Louvre. Do you feel excited? Well this is the feeling you will experience going on a backpacking trip of Europe in summer. If you are interested in History and Culture then Paris should form part of your itinerary. However if you are interested in Partying, then Paris should also form part of the itinerary. So in saying that, Paris should be a MANDATORY stop on any Backpacking itinerary in Europe. The city is absolutely fantastic. It has got lots to see and do.
